  • Annie B. Carberry, DDS

Dr. Carberry grew up in Sanford, NC and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s degree in biology. She stayed close to her Tar Heel roots by graduating from UNC School of Dentistry. Following her graduation in 2014, Dr. Carberry left for an adventure on the West Coast, where she had an opportunity to complete her General Practice Residency at the San Francisco VA Hospital. After spending a few wonderful years in California, working at both the VA and in private practice, Dr. Carberry and her husband moved back to North Carolina. Prior to meeting Dr. Jaynes and taking over his practice’s long-standing legacy, she worked at a thriving dental office in Charlotte for several years.

Dr. Carberry was drawn to dentistry at an early age. She loves that it is a combination of surgery and art. She listens to her patients, gives them her full attention, and works with them to develop the appropriate treatment plan. Believing that oral health is a strong indicator of total wellness, she greatly values and enjoys educating patients on how to take small, but meaningful steps to improve their overall health.

Giving back to her community is also very important to her. She regularly serves with Agape Dental Ministry here in Charlotte and the N.C. Mission of Mercy clinics. She participated in a dental mission trip to Nepal while in dental school and hopes to return regularly when her kids are a little older.

Dr. Carberry met her husband, Billy, in California, and together they enjoy spending time with their two children, Mary Beth and Fritz, and their happy dog, Cal. They attend Forest Hill Church where Dr. Carberry volunteers with kids ministries. The Carberry family loves outdoor adventures, especially hiking in the Blue Ridge. Dr. Carberry also enjoys practicing yoga and cooking paleo meals (including the occasional sweet treats).

She is a member of Charlotte Dental Society, North Carolina Dental Society, American Dental Association, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine.

  • Teresa S.
    Office Manager
    Years of Service: 16 years

In her words, Teresa shares her favorite things about…

The Practice: “I love being able to pray before we start the day, lifting up the day, each other, and our patients to God. I love my sweet co-workers and the patients.”

Our Patients: “I really enjoy helping people and our patients give me so much in return. They are truly gifts to me.”

Time Outside the Office: “I love God. I love being with my family, especially at the beach. I am a proud ‘Mimi’ … it is what I do best!”

  • Sheri V., RDH
    Dental Hygienist
    Years of Service: 29 years

In her words, Sheri shares her favorite things about…

The Practice: “The people! We have some of the nicest, sweetest, funniest, most interesting people as our patients! No two patients are alike which makes our workday interesting and ever-changing.”

Our Patients: 'I enjoy cleaning people’s teeth – seeing their habits improve, their gums get healthier, and at times their self-esteem goes up. I like that my job helps people! For some of my patients, “help” comes in the form of dental things (flossing, etc), but for other patients “help” comes in the form of a listening ear. Sometimes my shoulders hurt at the end of a long day but God has filled my heart knowing that maybe I helped someone else have a better day!'

Time Outside the Office: “I love being outside! Hiking, walking, backpacking, and playing in the cow pasture! I love a good book and time with family and friends. I enjoy mission/outreach opportunities both local and international. God has blessed me over the years with all of these things!'

  • Chelsey K., RDH
    Dental Hygienist
    Years in Dentistry: 10 years

In her words, Chelsey shares her favorite things about…

The Practice: 'I love that we serve our patients with intentionality and personalized care. We work together as a team, going beyond just “cleaning and fixing” teeth to care for patients as a whole.  I’m thrilled to be working alongside one of my college mentors, Dr. Carberry!'

Our Patients: 'I’m excited to meet the loyal, generational patient base, as well as welcome new patients into the practice!  The relationship you can form with patients just seeing them 2-4 hours per year is amazing.  Encouraging people to have good oral hygiene, knowing it affects their overall health, brings me joy.'

Time Outside the Office: 'Spending time with my husband and our new son, Porter, is the best!  I love to travel, whether it’s exploring a new place or for dental volunteer work.  This passion has led me to live in Kenya and visit several other beautiful countries.  I enjoy hiking, pilates, serving at Mosaic Church and scoping out different international cuisines around Charlotte!'

  • Carrie A., RDH
    Dental Hygienist
    Years of Service: 10 years

In her words, Carrie shares her favorite things about…

The Practice: 'By far the patients and my coworkers.  Having a supportive team around me makes for a great work environment. My husband grew up in this practice and now being a part of the team is just icing on the cake. As a newcomer here, I already feel right at home!'

Our Patients: 'I enjoy educating and watching the transformation of individuals’ oral health. Seeing patients take control of their health and grow in confidence is what it’s all about.  The patients here are wonderful- the one on one time spent developing connections and relationships makes my job rewarding.'

Time Outside the Office: 'I have two wonderful daughters, Madison and Nora Kate, who take up most of my time. When I’m not chasing them around, I love being outdoors either gardening or running. When indoors, you can find me reading interior design magazines or cookbooks. I’m always looking for new great recipes to test out.'

  • Brooke S., CDA
    Dental Assistant
    Years of Service: 3 years

In her words, Brooke shares her favorite things about…

The Practice: “My coworkers and patients - everyone has been so welcoming! We are a smaller, close-knit practice that allows me to take my time with each patient and get to know them on a truly personal basis.”

Our Patients:  “I love being a part of helping our patients feel more confident about their smile--educating patients is fun!  I love to hear them share their stories.  We also have a few 'punny' patients.  You can always make me laugh with a good pun!”

Time Outside the Office: “I enjoy spending time outdoors and being with my family.  I just got married in March 2022 to my husband, Cole.  I have the sweetest miniature dachshund named Annie.  Ask to see pictures of her at your appointment, I'm a proud dog-mom!”
